Federal Reimbursement Contract definition

Federal Reimbursement Contract means any agreement between a Guarantee Agency and the Secretary of Education providing for the payment by the Secretary of Education of amounts authorized to be paid pursuant to the Higher Education Act, including (but not necessarily limited to) reimbursement of amounts paid or payable upon defaulted Financed Student Loans and other student loans guaranteed or insured by the Guarantee Agency and interest subsidy payments to holders of qualifying student loans guaranteed or insured by the Guarantee Agency.
