Feeder Cattle Settlement Index definition

Feeder Cattle Settlement Index means the weekly average price of feeder cattle sold through auction in the Western Canadian location relevant to that Settlement Index, expressed in dollars per Unit, representing an 850-pound steer and established in accordance with the price setting methodology as determined by the Program Administrator on behalf of the Insurer and posted to the WLPIP Website.
