Fenced Yard definition

Fenced Yard means a unit of real property that is surrounded by fences, walls, buildings or similar barriers or any combination of fences, walls, buildings or similar barriers.
Fenced Yard means a yard which is completely enclosed by a fence constructed in accordance with the specifications set out in Schedule “D” of this by-law, provided that the walls of a continuously occupied building are considered as proportions of the required fence, provided that all doors in such walls and gates in fences are equipped with secure catches.
Fenced Yard means a yard which is completely enclosed by a fence constructed in accordance with the specifications set out in Schedule “C” of this By-Law provided that the walls or the continuously occupied building are considered a portion of the required fence, provided that all doors in such walls are equipped with locks and that all doors providing access to the fenced yard are locked when a vicious dog or dog included in Schedule “B” to this By-Law is inside the fenced yard;

  • Fence means any structure, wall or barrier, other than a building, erected at grade for the purpose of defining boundaries of property, separating open space, restricting ingress to or egress from property, providing security or protection to property or acting as a visual or acoustic screen.
