Films In Progress shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.20.

Films In Progress means all Theatrical Motion Pictures, direct-to- video/DVD and made-for-television programming that have not been released and for which principal photography or post-production has commenced, which are being (or are to be) produced by the applicable entity or any of its Subsidiaries, or which the applicable entity or any of its Subsidiaries have “greenlit” or committed to finance, in whole or in part, or acquire any ownership interest, distribution rights or other rights from a third Person.

Films In Progress means all Video Programming for which development, pre-production, principal photography or post-production has commenced, or that have been completed and/or acquired, or completed and/or acquired but not released and/or Exploited as of the Closing Date, or on which a director or principal cast has been made “pay or play,” in each case whether being produced by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries, or whether the Company or any of its Subsidiaries is committed to acquire any rights in such programming work or project from a third Person.

Examples of Films In Progress in a sentence

  • The relevant Entertainment Company or Unaffiliated Production Company has obtained proper and effective licenses or grants of authority to use the results and proceeds of the services of performers and other Persons connected with the production of the Films In Progress to the extent reasonably necessary or desirable to exercise all rights of such Entertainment Company therein.

  • The credits contained in the main and end titles of the Films In Progress, if any, comply in all material respects with all obligations with respect thereto, including without limitation, contractual obligations to third parties who rendered services in connection with the Films In Progress and all applicable guild agreements.
