Financial Ombudsman Service definition

Financial Ombudsman Service means the independent service set up by law in accordance with the Financial Services Act of 2000 as amended.

Financial Ombudsman Service means that organisation whose details are given in Part 2, Condition 2.17 andany successor or replacement scheme or organisation responsible for the investigation, mediation and adjudication of complaints made by customers about the conduct of a regulated financial service provider, in accordance with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 as amended from time to time.
