FOMC Target Rate definition

FOMC Target Rate means, the short-term interest rate target set by the Federal Open Market Committee and published on the Federal Reserve’s Website or, if the Federal Open Market Committee does not target a single rate, the mid-point of the short-term interest rate target range set by the Federal Open Market Committee and published on the Federal Reserve’s Website (calculated as the arithmetic average of the upper bound of the target range and the lower bound of the target range).
FOMC Target Rate means, the short-term interest rate target set by the Federal Open Market Committee and published on the website of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York currently at www .newyorkfed.org, or any successor website of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York or, if the Federal Open Market Committee does not target a single rate, the mid-point of the short-term interest rate target range set by the Federal Open Market Committee and published on the website of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (calculated as the arithmetic average of the upper bound of the target range and the lower bound of the target range).
FOMC Target Rate means, in respect of any relevant day (including any day “i”), the short-term interest rate target set by the Federal Open Market Committee or, if the Federal Open Market Committee does not target a single rate, the mid-point of the short-term interest rate target range set by the Federal Open Market Committee (calculated as the arithmetic average of the upper bound of the target range and the lower bound of the target range, rounded, if necessary, to the fifth decimal place), in respect of that day.

Examples of FOMC Target Rate in a sentence

  • If (a) there is no Fed Recommended Rate, or there is a Fed Recommended Rate and an Index Replacement Date subsequently occurs withrespect to it, and (b) an Index Replacement Date also occurs with respect to OBFR, then the rate for an Interest Determination Date which occurs on or after the Index Replacement Date with respect to OBFR (or, if later, the Index Replacement Date with respect to the Fed Recommended Rate, SOFR or SOFR Index, as applicable) will be the FOMC Target Rate.

  • In respect of any day for which the FOMC Target Rate is required, references to the FOMC Target Rate will be deemed to be references to the last provided or published FOMC Target Rate as at close of business in New York City on that day.

  • The Administrative Agent and its Affiliates or other related entities may engage in transactions that affect the calculation of the Index, Alternate Base Rate, SOFR, any Fed Recommended Rate, OBFR, FOMC Target Rate, any alternative, successor or replacement rate or any relevant adjustments thereto, in each case, in a manner adverse to the Borrower.

  • These definitions define the FOMC Target Rate as the short-term interest rate target set by the Federal Open Market Committee or, if the Federal Open Market Committee does not target a single rate, the mid-point of the short-term interest rate target range set by the Federal Open Market Committee (calculated as the arithmetic average of the upper bound of the target range and the lower bound of the target range, rounded, if necessary, in accordance with the rounding method in the ISDA definitions).

  • Soft Target means a target that will suffer minimum damage and cause minimum damage to the subject vehicle in the event of a collision.

  • SOFR Compounded Index means the Compounded SOFR rate as published at 15:00 (New York time) by Federal Reserve Bank of New York (or a successor administrator of SOFR) on the website of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, or any successor source; and

  • Semi-annual (2/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done during the months of June and December, unless specifically identified otherwise.

  • SONIA Compounded Index means the index known as the SONIA Compounded Index administered by the Bank of England (or any successor administrator thereof);

  • Three-Month LIBOR means the rate (expressed as a percentage per annum) for deposits in United States dollars for a three-month period commencing on the first day of a Dividend Period that appears on the Reuters Screen LIBOR01 Page as of 11:00 a.m. (London time) on the LIBOR Determination Date for that Dividend Period. If such rate does not appear on Reuters Screen LIBOR01 Page, Three-month LIBOR will be determined on the basis of the rates at which deposits in United States dollars for a three-month period commencing on the first day of that Dividend Period and in a principal amount of not less than $1 million are offered to prime banks in the London interbank market by four major banks in the London interbank market selected by the Calculation Agent (after consultation with the Company), at approximately 11:00 a.m., London time, on the LIBOR Determination Date for that Dividend Period. The Calculation Agent will request the principal London office of each of such banks to provide a quotation of its rate. If at least two such quotations are provided, Three-month LIBOR with respect to that Dividend Period will be the arithmetic mean (rounded upward if necessary to the nearest whole multiple of 0.00001%) of such quotations. If fewer than two quotations are provided, Three-month LIBOR with respect to that Dividend Period will be the arithmetic mean (rounded upward if necessary to the nearest whole multiple of 0.00001%) of the rates quoted by three major banks in New York City selected by the Calculation Agent (after consultation with the Company), at approximately 11:00 a.m., New York City time, on the LIBOR Determination Date for that Dividend Period for loans in United States dollars to leading European banks for a three-month period commencing on the first day of that Dividend Period and in a principal amount of not less than $1 million. However, if fewer than three banks selected by the Calculation Agent to provide quotations are quoting as described above, Three-month LIBOR for that Dividend Period will be the same Three-month LIBOR as determined for the previous Dividend Period or, in the case of the Dividend Period beginning on April 30, 2018, 2.920%. The determination of Three-month LIBOR for each relevant Dividend Period by the Calculation Agent will (in the absence of manifest error) be final and binding.

  • Baseline Period means the period used to determine the baseline emission rate for each regulated pollutant under OAR 340 division 222.

  • Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.

  • SONIA Compounded IndexStart means, with respect to an Interest Accrual Period, the SONIA Compounded Index determined in relation to the day falling the Relevant Number of London Banking Days prior to the first day of such Interest Accrual Period; and
