Forest Industries definition

Forest Industries for the purpose of this Agreement means industries that generate jobs and economic benefits that depend on Forests including (but not limited to) Timber and Forestry Products Industries, nature based tourism and apiculture;
Forest Industries means all industries engaged in the harvesting, extraction, processing, manufacture, preservation and seasoning of forest produce;
Forest Industries means all businesses and organizations whose primary activities include growing, managing, processing or marketing of trees;

  • Forest management plan means a written plan prepared and signed by a qualified forester that prescribes measures to optimize production, utilization, regeneration, and harvest of timber. The forest management plan shall include a schedule and timetables for the various silvicultural practices used on forestlands, which shall be a maximum of 20 years in length. A forest management plan shall include all of the following:

  • Cendant means Cendant Corporation, a Delaware corporation.
