General Water Service definition

General Water Service means basic residential water service or water service for general commercial or municipal purposes but excluding, without limitation, water service for seasonal or temporary uses and water service solely for sprinkler systems or for any other fire protection use.

  • PRIVATE FIRE SERVICE CHARGES:a) Customers with one service line providing both General Water Service and Private Fire Service (not used for General Water Service purposes) are charged a Private Fire Facilities Charge equal to the charge for a meter the same size as the service line, plus a charge for General Water Service based on the size of the meter, plus a Water Usage Charge, plus a Public Fire Hydrant Charge, if applicable.

  • Water for any use other than fire protection shall be charged for at General Water Service rate, Rate Schedule No. 1, Sheet No. 32 and Sheet No. 33,delivery to be determined by meter measurement when feasible, otherwise by estimate of the Company of the quantity delivered based on such factors as the diameter and length of time of the connection.
