GIC definition

GIC means a guaranteed investment contract or funding agreement or other similar agreement issued by an Account Party or any of its Subsidiaries that guarantees to a counterparty a rate of return on the invested capital over the life of such contract or agreement.
GIC means (a) any investment that has specifically negotiated withdrawal or reinvestment provisions and a specifically negotiated interest rate and (b) any agreement to supply investments on two or more future dates (e.g., a forward supply contract).
GIC means the Gas Industry Company Limited.

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Bank, the Bank will automatically renew any GIC or other investment on maturity and on each succeeding maturity date for the term originally or most recently instructed by the Customer.

  • If payable, interest will be credited to an Account in accordance with the type of GIC or other deposit held in the Account, and on the termination of the Account.
