Rate of Return definition

Rate of Return means the rate used to determine the amount credited monthly to a Participant’s Account under Article IV. Such rate shall be determined by the Administrative Committee based upon the net performance of the Earnings Indices selected by the Participant.
Rate of Return means the financial indicators used to determine or demonstrate reasonableness of the financial requirements of a hospital. Such indicators shall include, but not be limited to: return on assets, return on equity, total margin, and debt service coverage.
