Golden Hour definition

Golden Hour provisions are set forth in Article 26.

Golden Hour. Principle means the time within which most lives could be saved and injuries minimized. Thus, a timely and rapid warning dissemination to vulnerable areas is necessary.
Golden Hour concept of trauma means that, in case of life-threatening injuries, interventions in the field are centered on bringing the victim to appropriate care as quickly as possible. Transport options include police vehicles and EMS ambulances and helicopters. Police vehicles should be used if EMS is delayed or overwhelmed. A medical helicopter can be called from the scene if severe trauma is present, depending on the distance to the trauma center.
