Governing Act definition

Governing Act means the Electricity Act 1989 as amended and supplemented by the Utilities Act 2000;

  • Nothing in this clause affects or limits any other obligation that You have under the Service Agreement or any right that We have under the Service Agreement or a Governing Act.

  • You must comply with all relevant laws (including the Governing Act ), these Conditions for Small Grants and any relevant guidelines notified by Us in relation to the Approved Funding in carrying out the Approved Project.

  • Where funding under another agreement with You has been terminated by Us, We may terminate the Approved Funding, subject to the provisions of the Governing Act.

  • Rulings made by the Arbitrator are final and binding on the Parties, subject to the right to appeal to the Court on the mandatory grounds of appeal provided for by the relevant Governing Act.

  • We may take action under this clause 13 without having to give a compliance notice under a Governing Act or take any other compliance or enforcement action under a Governing Act, except if expressly required by a Governing Act.

  • All Limited Partners of the Partnership shall be deemed to constitute a single class or group and, except as may be specifically otherwise provided herein, shall vote or grant written consents as a single class with respect to any matters on which Limited Partners have the right to vote or act by written consent hereunder or under the Governing Act.

  • The exercise by any Limited Partner of any right conferred herein shall not be construed to constitute participation by such Limited Partner in the conduct of the business of the Partnership so as to make such Limited Partner liable for the debts and obligations of the Partnership for purposes of the Governing Act.

  • PBR Act means the Plant Breeder’s Rights Xxx 0000 (Cth) as amended from time to time.

  • Clean air standards, as used in this clause, means:

  • Business Corporations Act means the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) from time to time in force and all amendments thereto and includes all regulations and amendments thereto made pursuant to that Act;

  • Anticorruption Laws means the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, or any other anticorruption or anti-bribery Applicable Law applicable to the Company or any of the Company Subsidiaries.

  • Liquor Act means the Liquor Act 2007 and any regulation made under the Liquor Act 2007. Any reference to a provision of the Liquor Act includes a reference to the same or similar provision in any legislation replacing, amending or modifying the Liquor Act however that provision may be amended in that legislation.

  • Ratifying Act means the Act to ratify this Agreement and referred to in clause 3 hereof;

  • Rail Safety Act means the Rail Safety Act 1998 (WA);

  • Anti-Corruption Laws means all laws, rules, and regulations of any jurisdiction applicable to the Borrower or its Subsidiaries from time to time concerning or relating to bribery or corruption.

  • Equal Credit Opportunity Act means the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, as amended.

  • FOI Act means the Freedom of Information Xxx 0000 and any subordinate legislation made under this Act from time to time together with any guidance and/or codes of practice issued by the Information Commissioner in relation to such legislation;

  • Bribery Act means the Bribery Act 2010 and any subordinate legislation made under that Act from time to time together with any guidance or codes of practice issued by the relevant government department concerning this legislation;

  • POPI Act means the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 as may be amended from time to time;
