Section 2.3. 37 The exercise of these rights which are not in direct conflict with a specific provision of the Agreement 38 shall not be subject to the grievance procedure. 39
Section 2.3. 8 The right to make reasonable rules and regulations shall be considered acknowledged functions of the 9 District. In making rules and regulations relating to personnel policies, procedures and practices, and 10 matters of working conditions, the District shall give due regard and consideration to the rights of the 11 Association and the employees and to the obligations imposed by this agreement.
Section 2.3. 20 Employees subject to this agreement have the right to have Union representatives or other persons 21 present at discussion which may lead to disciplinary action between themselves and supervisors or 22 other representatives of the District.

Section 2.3. 8 The District and the Association agree that the above statement of board rights is for illustrative 9 purposes only and is not to be construed or interpreted so as to exclude those prerogatives not 10 mentioned which are inherent to management, including those prerogatives granted by law. It is the 11 intention of the District and the Association that the rights, powers, authority and functions of 12 management shall remain exclusively vested in the District except insofar as expressly and specifically 13 surrendered or limited by the provisions of this agreement. 17 A R T I C L E I I I

Section 2.3. 46 The Association agrees that there will be no strike, work stoppage or slowdown, boycott or picketing 47 against the School District during the life of the Agreement.
