Grease and oil definition
Grease and oil means a group of substances including hydrocarbons, fatty acids, soaps, fats, waxes, oils or any other material that is extracted by a solvent from an acidiked sample and that is not volatilized during the laboratory test procedures. Greases and oils are dekned by the method of their determination in accordance with 40 CFR 136.
Grease and oil means the group of substances with similar physical characteristics, which includes fatty acids, soaps, fats, waxes, oils and any other material solvent extracted and not volatilized during evaporation of the solvent.
Grease and oil means the total grease and oil measured in a wastewater sample by methods set forth in 40 CFR 136 or its successor. (Ord. 36-93 § 2, 1993)
