Examples of Guardianship of the person in a sentence
Guardianship of the person means the duty and authority vested in a guardian of a minor.
An “Initial Petition” is defined as the first Petition for Conservatorship of the person and/or estate or first Guardianship of the person and/or estate, filed by a Petitioner, regardless of whether the filing is a temporary petition or general petition.
Competing or subsequent Petitions for Conservatorship of the person and/or estate or Guardianship of the person and/or estate, filed by another Petitioner or nominating a different proposed guardian/conservator, must also provide the supporting documents listed below before the filing will be accepted by the Civil Clerk for filing.
Due to the complexities of many of the proceedings to establish or maintain a Guardianship of the person or Conservatorship of the estate, it is recommended that a person seek out the legal advice of a competent attorney with experience in Guardianship or Conservatorship law.
Guardianship of the person shall include both temporary guardianship and permanent guardianship.
