Habilitative Services and Devices definition

Habilitative Services and Devices means Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and other health care services that help a Covered Person keep, learn, or improve skills and functioning for daily living, as prescribed by a Covered Person’s Physician pursuant to a treatment plan. Examples include therapy for a child who isn’t walking or talking at the expected age and includes therapy to enhance the ability of a child to function with a Congenital, Genetic or Early Acquired Disorder. These services may include Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, speech-language pathology, and other services for people with disabilities in a variety of Inpatient and/or Outpatient settings, with coverage as described in this Policy.

  • Information technology services means services designed to do any of the following:

  • Genetic services means a genetic test, genetic counseling (including obtaining, interpreting, or assessing genetic information), or genetic education.

  • Supportive services means social, health, educational, income support and employment services and benefits, coordination of community building and educational activities, individualized needs assessment, and individualized assistance with obtaining services and benefits.

  • Container station and depot services means activities consisting in storing containers, whether in port areas or inland, with a view to their stuffing/stripping, repairing and making them available for shipments.

  • Sensitive Services means those services that (i) require access to Customer/Consumer Information, (ii) relate to the State’s computer networks, information systems, databases or secure facilities under circumstances that would permit modifications to such systems, or (iii) involve unsupervised access to secure facilities (“Sensitive Services”).

  • PREVENTIVE CARE SERVICES means covered healthcare services performed to prevent the occurrence of disease as defined by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). See Preventive Care and Early Detection Services in Section 3. PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER (PCP) means, for the purpose of this plan, professional providers that are family practitioners, internists, and pediatricians. For the purpose of this plan, gynecologists, obstetricians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants may be credentialed as PCPs.   • Online Services means Microsoft-hosted services to which Customer subscribes under this Agreement. It does not include software and services provided under separate license terms.

  • Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act means the Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act, 2013 (Act 16 of 2013);

  • Homemaker services means the professionally directed or supervised simple household maintenance or management services provided by trained homemakers or individuals to families in their own homes.
