Health Districts definition

Health Districts means the seven regional public health districts created pursuant to Title 39, Chapter 4, Idaho Code.
Health Districts means collectively all such health districts.
Health Districts means the geographical and administrative sub-divisions of the PHOs;

  • Local Health Districts and Specialty Health Networks oversighted by their Boards have responsibility for developing the following Plans:  Strategic Plan  Clinical Services Plans  Workforce Plan  Corporate Governance Plan  Asset Strategic Plan  Operations/Business plans at all management levels of a Local Health District or Specialty Health Network.

  • Idaho’s 44 counties are grouped into seven Public Health Districts and are governed by policy boards appointed by the county commissioners in those Districts.

Related to Health Districts

  • Health district means a city or general health district created by or under the authority of Chapter 3709. of the Revised Code.

  • Health Department means the department of environmental quality, a city health department, a county health department, or a district health department, whichever has jurisdiction.

  • Registered Health Practitioner means a health practitioner registered, or licensed, as a health practitioner (or as a health practitioner of a particular type) under a law of a State or Territory that provides for the registration or licensing of health practitioners (or health practitioners of that type).

  • Health care worker means a person other than a health care professional who provides medical, dental, or other health-related care or treatment under the direction of a health care professional with the authority to direct that individual's activities, including medical technicians, medical assistants, dental assistants, orderlies, aides, and individuals acting in similar capacities.

  • School district means a public school district.

  • Local health department means the same as that term is defined in Section 26A-1-102.

  • ADA means the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  • Health Care Operations shall have the meaning given to such term under the HIPAA 2 Privacy Rule in 45 CFR § 164.501.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act means the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No 85 of 1993);

  • Resident district means the school district in which a student is entitled to attend school under section 3313.64 or 3313.65 of the Revised Code.

  • Occupational Safety and Health Law means any Legal Requirement designed to provide safe and healthful working conditions and to reduce occupational safety and health hazards, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and any program, whether governmental or private (such as those promulgated or sponsored by industry associations and insurance companies), designed to provide safe and healthful working conditions.
