Workforce means employees, volunteers, trainees or other persons whose performance of work is under the direct control of a party, whether or not they are paid by that party.
Fundserv means the facility maintained and operated by Fundserv Inc. for electronic communication with participating companies, including the receiving of orders, order match, contracting, registrations, settlement of orders, transmission of confirmation of purchases, and the redemption of investments or instruments.
History means, for the purposes of an eligibility determination as defined in this rule, necessary evidence of an intellectual disability prior to 18 years of age or an other developmental disability prior to 22 years of age, including previous assessments and medical evaluations prior to the date of eligibility determination for developmental disabilities services.
Backsiphonage means the flow of water or other liquids, mixtures or substances into the potable water system from any source other than its intended source, caused by the reduction of pressure in the potable water system.
Store and forward means an asynchronous transmission of medical information to be reviewed at a later date by a health care provider at a distant site who is trained in the relevant specialty and by which the health care provider at the distant site reviews the medical information without the patient present in real time.
Home Base means the location, assigned by the operator to the crew member, from where the crew member normally starts and ends a duty period or a series of duty periods and where, under normal circumstances, the operator is not responsible for the accommodation of the crew member concerned;
Moderate-income household means a household with a total gross annual household income in excess of 50 percent but less than 80 percent of the median household income.
Asynchronous store and forward means the transmission of a patient's medical information from an originating site to the health care provider for telehealth at a distant site without the presence of the patient.
Lower income household means a household having an income equal to or less than the

Abbeyfield Home means an establishment run by the Abbeyfield Society including all bodies corporate or unincorporated which are affiliated to that society;
TELRIC means Total Element Long-Run Incremental Cost.
Journeyman plumber means a person licensed under this chapter as a
FFS means fee for service or fee-for-service.
Consumers means Consumers Energy Company, a Michigan corporation, all of whose common stock is on the date hereof owned by the Issuer.
Short-rotation coppice means a specific management regime whereby the poles of trees are cut every one to two years and which is aimed at producing biomass for energy. It is exempt from the UK government timber procurement policy requirements and falls under agricultural regulation and supervision rather than forestry. The exemption only refers to short-rotation coppice, and not 'conventional' coppice which is forest management and therefore subject to the timber policy.
Home means work in the office in the expert’s country of residence. “Field” work means work carried out in the Client’s country or any other country outside the expert’s country of residence.
Agricultural tractor means every self-propelling vehicle designed or used for drawing other vehicles or wheeled machinery but having no provision for carrying loads independently of such other vehicles, and used principally for agricultural purposes.
Cathodic protection means a technique designed to prevent the corrosion of a metal surface by making that surface the cathode of an electrochemical cell. For example, protection can be accomplished with an impressed current system or a galvanic anode system.
Growth means the rating a school will receive based on longitudinally matched student data comparing current performance to the previous year’s for the purpose of determining student academic growth.
Home Health Care means the continual care and treatment of an individual if:
Consumer means any person who is supplied with electricity for his own use by a licensee or the Government or by any other person engaged in the business of supplying electricity to the public under this Act or any other law for the time being in force and includes any person whose premises are for the time being connected for the purpose of receiving electricity with the works of a licensee, the Government or such other person, as the case may be;
Profit and “Loss” and any items of income, gain, expense, or loss referred to in this Agreement shall be determined in accordance with federal income tax accounting principles, as modified by Regulations Section 1.704-1(b)(2)(iv), except that Profit and Loss shall not include items of income, gain and expense that are specially allocated pursuant to Sections 5.1(b), 5.1(c) or 5.1(d). All allocations of income, Profit, gain, Loss and expense (and all items contained therein) for federal income tax purposes shall be identical to all allocations of such items set forth in this Section 5.1, except as otherwise required by Section 704(c) of the Code and Regulations Section 1.704-1(b)(4). The General Partner shall have the authority to elect the method to be used by the Partnership for allocating items of income, gain, and expense as required by Section 704(c) of the Code including a method that may result in a Partner receiving a disproportionately larger share of the Partnership tax depreciation deductions, and such election shall be binding on all Partners.
Median household income (MHI) means the calculation computed by the U.S. Census Bureau - Income of Households - This includes the income of the householder and all other individuals 15 years old and over in the household, whether they are related to the householder or not. Because many households consist of only one-person, average household income is usually less than average family income. The median divides the income distribution into two equal parts: one-half of the cases falling below the median income and one-half above the median. For households and families, the median income is based on the distribution of the total number of households and families including those with no income. The median income for individuals is based on individuals 15 years old and over with income. Median income for households, families, and individuals is computed on the basis of a standard distribution.
Traveler s check” means an instrument that is payable on demand, is drawn on or payable at or through a bank, is designated by the term “traveler's check” or by a substantially similar term, and requires, as a condition to payment, a countersignature by a person whose specimen signature appears on the instrument.
High-Cost Home Loan as defined in the New Mexico Home Loan Protection Act effective January 1, 2004; (iii) “High-Cost Home Mortgage Loans” as defined in the Massachusetts Predatory Home Loan Practices Act effective November 7, 2004 and (iv) “High Cost Home Loans” as defined in the Indiana Home Loan Practices Act effective January 1, 2005.
