  • Hong Kong” the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the PRC;

  • International banking institution means an international financial institution of which the United States is a member and whose securities are exempt from registration under the Securities Act of 1933.

  • Account Number means the identification number given by the U.S. EPA to each NOx allowance tracking system account.

  • World Bank Group means the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency and the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes.

  • The World Bank means the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) or the international Development Association (IDA).

  • Mauritius means the Republic of Mauritius and includes: (i) all the territories and islands which, in accordance with the laws of Mauritius, constitute the State of Mauritius; (ii) the territorial sea of Mauritius; and (iii) any area outside the territorial sea of Mauritius which in accordance with international law has been or may hereafter be designated, under the laws of Mauritius, as an area, including the Continental Shelf, within which the rights of Mauritius with respect to the sea, the sea-bed and sub-soil and their natural resources may be exercised;

  • WFOE has the meaning set forth in the Preamble of this Agreement.

  • Legal guardian means a person recognized by a court of law as having the duty of taking care of the person and managing the property and rights of an individual that is placed with such person by judgment, decree or other order of any court of competent jurisdiction.
