Housing Assistance Payments Contract definition

Housing Assistance Payments Contract is a contract with HUD or the Contract Administrator for the payment of Housing Assistance Payments.
Housing Assistance Payments Contract. (HAP contract) means a written contract between an HA and an owner in the form prescribed by HUD headquarters, in which the HA agrees to make housing assistance payments to the owner on behalf of an eligible family.
Housing Assistance Payments Contract or “HAP Contract” means a written agreement between the Agency and an Owner for the purpose of providing housing assistance payments to the Owner under the Section 8 Tenant Based Rental Assistance and Moderate Rehabilitation Programs on behalf of the Family.
