Hydrated lime definition

Hydrated lime means a material, made from burnt lime, which consists essentially of calcium hydroxide or a combination of calcium hydroxide with magnesium oxide and/or magnesium hydroxide.

Hydrated lime means a high calcium hydrated lime suitable for the treatment of potable water. The said hydrated lime shall comply in every respect with the "Standard Specifications for Quicklime and Hydrated Lime" according to the American Water Works Association Specification B-202-93, or any later modification thereof.
