Incurred Loss Amount definition

Incurred Loss Amount means, with respect to a Reference Entity and an Event Determination Date, an amount, calculated as of such Event Determination Date, equal to the lower of: (x) the Loss Amount; and (y) the Aggregate Losses Amount (including the related Loss Amount for that Reference Entity) minus the Subordination Amount, as may be adjusted pursuant to the Portfolio Substitution and Management Agreement (subject to a minimum of zero).

Examples of Incurred Loss Amount in a sentence

  • For the purposes of this Schedule 2, "Outstanding Swap Notional Amount", "Incurred Loss Amount" and "Incurred Recovery Amount" have the meanings specified in the relevant forms published by CDS IndexCo LLC, Markit North America, Inc., or any predecessor or successor thereto (or, if the relevant tranched transaction is documented under another form of documentation, meanings analogous thereto, to the extent applicable).

  • The Calculation Agent will inform the parties as soon as reasonably practicable following the determination thereof of the amount of (i) any Loss Amount or Recovery Amount in respect of a Reference Entity, irrespective of whether or not the Aggregate Loss Amount or Aggregate Recovery Amount, as applicable, is less than or equal to the Loss Threshold Amount or Recovery Threshold Amount, respectively, and (ii) any Incurred Loss Amount or Incurred Recovery Amount in respect of a Reference Entity.

  • At the time of determination of each Incurred Loss Amount relating to a Reference Entity and a Calculation Date, the Loss Threshold Amount shall be reduced by an amount equal to the applicable Loss Amount (if any) or such lesser amount such that the Loss Threshold Amount shall not be less than zero.

  • Notwithstanding the restrictions contained in this Condition 3.5, in the event that the Assets comprise Puttable Asset Securities, the Custodian will covenant in the Drawdown Deed to exercise the early redemption option in respect of the Asset Principal Amount of the Puttable Asset Securities upon the determination of a Tranche Incurred Loss Amount in respect of which the Cash Settlement Date falls before the Scheduled Maturity Date or, as the case may be, upon the exercise of the Zero Redemption Option.

Incurred Loss Amount means, on the Physical Settlement Date of Credit Default Swap Transaction, an amount equal to the Floating Rate Payer Calculation Amount stated in such Credit Default Swap Transaction.

Related to Incurred Loss Amount

  • Applied Loss Amount With respect to any Distribution Date, the amount, if any, by which (x) the aggregate Certificate Principal Amount of the Certificates after giving effect to all Realized Losses incurred with respect to the Mortgage Loans during the related Collection Period and distributions of principal on such Distribution Date, but before giving effect to any application of the Applied Loss Amount with respect to such date, exceeds (y) the Pool Balance for such Distribution Date.

  • Shared-Loss Amount has the meaning provided in Section 2.1(b)(i) of this Commercial Shared-Loss Agreement.

  • Monthly Loss Amount means the sum of all Foreclosure Losses, Restructuring Losses, Short Sale Losses, Portfolio Losses, Modification Default Losses and Deficient Losses realized by the Assuming Institution for any Shared Loss Month.

  • Monthly Shared-Loss Amount means the change in the Cumulative Shared- Loss Amount from the beginning of each month to the end of each month.
