Index Licensor definition

Index Licensor means the licensor for the time being of the Index being at the date of registration of this Prospectus, FTSE International Limited, or such successor(s) or such other person(s) which licence the Index or any Successor Index to the Manager in respect of the Fund;
Index Licensor or “Index Provider” means the licensor for the time being of the Index for each Sub-Fund as set out in the relevant Appendix or such successor(s) or such other person(s) which licence the Index or any Successor Index to the Company (or the Manager on behalf of the Company) in respect of a Sub-Fund;

Examples of Index Licensor in a sentence

  • The Fund may not be able to achieve its objective and may be terminated if the Licence Agreement is terminated and the Manager is unable to identify or agree with the Index Licensor or any other index licensor terms for the use of a suitable replacement index that uses, in the opinion of the Manager, the same or a substantially similar formula for the method of calculation as the FTSE EPRA Nareit Asia ex Japan REITS 10% Capped Index.

  • All assets of the Fund shall be determined by reference to bid prices furnished by the Index Licensor, a pricing service or by brokers approved by the Manager and the Trustee.
