Information Management Agreement definition

Information Management Agreement or “IMA” means that agreement between the Information Manager and Participating Physicians, entered into pursuant to section 66 of the HIA, that governs the terms under which the Information Manager, among other responsibilities prescribed by the HIA, receives, processes, stores and converts Health Information, and maintains and secures the EMR System;
