Initial Ruling definition

Initial Ruling means any private letter ruling issued by the IRS in connection with the Spin-offs in response to Potlatch’s initial request for such a letter ruling.
Initial Ruling means the private letter ruling dated April 29, 2005, issued by the IRS with respect to the Restructuring Transactions and the Distribution.

  • Supplemental Ruling means (i) any ruling (other than the Ruling) issued by the IRS in connection with a Distribution, and (ii) any similar ruling issued by any other Taxing Authority addressing the application of a provision of the laws of another jurisdiction to a Distribution.

  • IRS means the United States Internal Revenue Service.

  • Least restrictive alternative means the treatment and conditions of treatment which, separately and in combination, are no more intrusive or restrictive of freedom than reasonably necessary to achieve a substantial therapeutic benefit to the minor, or to protect the minor or others from physical injury;
