Integrated Pole definition

Integrated Pole means a Pole designed to house street lighting and wireless communications equipment intended to provide efficient lighting and wireless communications signals in an integrated, aesthetically coherent structure. An Integrated Pole shall function as street lighting even if Equipment is not connected or is removed from the Integrated Pole.

  • In cases where the existing structural integrity or other conditions prevent a Type 1 attachment to a traffic standard, an Integrated Pole must be used.

  • Except as otherwise provided in this Master License, the City has no claim of ownership of Licensee’s Equipment installed on the License Area, but any structural improvements by Licensee to a City Pole, replacement of a City Pole, or installation of an Integrated Pole, will become City Property and remain on the Pole Location should Licensee vacate or abandon use of the City Pole.

  • As an incentive for Licensee to upgrade SFPUC Poles to Integrated Poles, beginning in the License Year following the License Year in which the SFPUC accepts the Integrated Pole and continuing for the remainder of the Term of each affected Pole License, the SFPUC will discount by 20% the annual License Fee for each Integrated Pole that the SFPUC has accepted.

  • Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, City may approve, in its sole discretion, a Pole License that allows the replacement of a concrete pole that does not qualify as a City Pole under this Agreement with a City Pole or Integrated Pole at Licensee’s sole cost and expense, subject to the City’s prior approval of plans, specifications, cost estimates, materials, and acceptance of completed improvements.

  • Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, City may approve, in its sole discretion, a Pole License that allows the replacement of a concrete Nonstandard City Pole with a Standard City Pole or Integrated Pole at Licensee’s sole cost and expense, subject to the City’s prior approval of plans, specifications, cost estimates, materials, and acceptance of completed improvements.

  • Any replacement City Pole or Integrated Pole will remain on the Pole Location should Licensee vacate or abandon use of the replacement City Pole or Integrated Pole.

  • Except as otherwise provided in this Master License, the City has no claim of ownership of Licensee’s Equipment installed on the License Area, but any structural improvements to a City Pole, replacement of a City Pole, installation of an Integrated Pole, made by Licensee will become City Property without the requirement of an additional deed AS-IS, WHERE-IS, AND WITH ALL FAULTS.

  • Pole Options for Drop and Swap and New Pole Placement in the Public Right-of-Way: Integrated Pole with Pedestal Base:  Pedestal base shall be square in shape with design dimensions not to exceed thirty (30”) inches wide by thirty (30”) inches long by forty-eight (48”) inches in height.
