Investigating grievances definition

Investigating grievances means that the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may make sufficient enquiry in order that the grievance may be presented and possibly resolved at the informal stage of the Grievance Procedure and at the first meeting after the written grievance has been filed. It is understood that any full investigation of the grievance for the purposes of arbitration will not occur during a period when the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or other Union Official to leave work. The Union may grieve the Employer’s withholding permission.
