Investment Income or Loss definition

Investment Income or Loss means the accrued net earnings or loss for the period that includes the net of interest accrual, premium and discount amortization, and gains or losses from investment sales.
Investment Income or Loss for any Plan Year means for an Account the sum of (1) interest income on investments, (2) dividends declared, paid and received, (3) realized gains or losses, as the case may be, from sales and maturities of investments, and (4) income, gain or loss on Financial Products, and less (5) expenses allocated to such activities set forth in (1) through (4) above.

  • Investment Company Act of 1940 means the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, and the rules and regulations thereunder.

  • Investment Assets means all debentures, notes and other evidences of Indebtedness, stocks, securities (including rights to purchase and securities convertible into or exchangeable for other securities), interests in joint ventures and general and limited partnerships, mortgage loans and other investment or portfolio assets owned of record or beneficially by the Company or any Subsidiary.

  • Program Income means gross in- come earned by the recipient that is di- rectly generated by a supported activ- ity or earned as a result of the award (see exclusions in § 215.24(e) and (h)).   • Family income means all income that is included in a determination of family income under section 143(f) of the internal revenue code, 26 USC 143(f), together with the income of all adults who will reside in the residence, which income might otherwise be excluded from consideration because the individual was not expected to both live in the residence and be primarily or secondarily liable on the mortgage note.

  • Member Nonrecourse Debt Minimum Gain means an amount, with respect to each Member Nonrecourse Debt, equal to the Company Minimum Gain that would result if the Member Nonrecourse Debt were treated as a Nonrecourse Liability, determined in accordance with Treasury Regulations Section 1.704-2(i)(3).

  • Foreign Investment means any investment made by a person resident outside India on a repatriable basis in capital instruments of an Indian company or to the capital of an LLP;
