IP Originated definition

IP Originated means traffic utilizing TCP/IP as a transmission protocol from the originating equipment (i.e. SIP phones, SIP PBX, TDM to SIP Gateway, IP-adapter, etc.) to a TCP/IP gateway, for termination to an IP destination or the PSTN.
IP Originated means voice traffic which Customer represents and certifies as utilizing TCP/IP as a transmission protocol from the Customer’s originating equipment (i.e. SIP phones, SIP PBX, TDM to SIP Gateway, IP- adapter, etc.) to a TCP/IP gateway. Traffic identified as non-IP originated is subject to incremental $.05 per minute charges.

This service is based on RFC 3261 – “SIP-Session Initiation Protocol” and requires Customer to conform to this standard. In the event VTONE determines that Customer is in violation of RFC 3261 and this violation prevents VTONE from accurately rating or billing Customer’s calls, VTONE reserves the right to xxxx the customer based on their estimated usage and rates, based on VTONE’s discretion

If Customer delivers traffic to MASSIVE NETWORKS traffic which is not IP Originated, Customer shall indemnify and hold harmless MASSIVE NETWORKS from any losses, claims or other damages of whatever kind arising from, or related to, MASSIVE NETWORKS termination of, or representation of such traffic as being IP Originated. Further MASSIVE NETWORKS may: i) charge Customer an incremental $.08 per minute for such traffic which Customer cannot establish was IP Originated; and/or ii) immediately terminate the Service Schedule without liability
