Isolated Care definition

Isolated Care means “one-on-one” supervision by Center’s staff in a separate area at Center. Isolated Care will be utilized when a child is sick or has behavior difficulties. The Day School will strive to reach the parents or other authorized persons to pick up the child. If the parents or other designated persons have not arrived or the Day School has exhausted all attempts to reach them, after one hour, an hourly fee will be charged until the child has been picked up.   • Acute care means a short course of intensive diagnostic and therapeutic services provided immediately following a work injury with a rapid onset of pronounced symptoms.

  • Home health aide services means the personal care and maintenance activities provided to individuals for the purpose of promoting normal standards of health and hygiene.

  • Child care means continuous care and supervision of five or more qualifying children that is:

  • Emergency Care means management for an illness or injury which results in symptoms which occur suddenly and unexpectedly, and requires immediate care by a medical practitioner to prevent death or serious long term impairment of the insured person’s health.

  • Consumer goods or services means goods or services purchased, leased, or rented primarily for personal, family, or household purposes, including courses of instruction or training regardless of the purpose for which they are taken.

  • Respite care means care provided to a terminally ill individual in order to provide temporary relief to the primary care- giver.

  • Finished Services means complete end-to-end services offered by CenturyLink to wholesale customers or retail End User Customers. Finished Services do not include Unbundled Network Elements or combinations of Unbundled Network Elements. Finished Services include Access Services, private lines, retail services, and resold services.

  • Inpatient care means treatment for which the insured person has to stay in a hospital for more than 24 hours for a covered event.

  • Pharmacy services means the practice of pharmacy as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW and includes any drugs or devices as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW.
