All ages: first Sunday after Labor Day • If a high school volleyball tournament season is cancelled or postponed by a state, the Effective Date will be determined after a state has cancelled or postponed a high school season, and will be two weeks after USA Volleyball approves sanctioning. • Term: September 1 – August 31 of the year in which the Effective Date occurs. • No tryouts or forming of teams may occur prior to effective dates as established by NCR Board of Directors tryout policy and dates. Doing so voids NCR Letter of Commitment. • Player may sign only one (1) Agreement per Term. • Upon the earlier of Player signing this Agreement, or Player having participated in North Country Region – USA Volleyball (“NCR”) sanctioned event (including practice and/or scrimmage) then Player is not allowed to transfer to another club prior to the end of the Term unless (1) released in writing by the Club which Player entered into the Agreement, and (2) approved in writing by NCR in its sole discretion. • This Agreement may be amended or changed only in writing and signed by Player and Club; provided, however, that Player may rescind this Agreement in Player’s sole discretion by explicitly rescinding this Agreement in a writing provided to the Club within twenty-four (24) hours after Xxxxxx’s execution of this Agreement. If Player rescinds this Agreement as provided in this paragraph, this Agreement will be void and of no effect. • Both Player and Club acknowledge that NCR is a league organizer and is not a party to this Agreement and both Player and Club agree to hold NCR harmless from any claim or action arising out of or relating to Player’s participation in the league. NCR has an interest in protecting the integrity of the tryout and team assignment process to ensure fair competition. As such, NCR is an intended third party beneficiary of this Agreement, and shall be entitled to enforce its terms, against either Player or Club, in its sole discretion. • The terms and conditions of this Agreement have been discussed with the Club representative named below, and Player fully accepts and agrees to be bound by this Agreement’s terms and conditions, follow USA Volleyball rules and policies, and follow NCR’s rules and policies.
