Legal Advice as used herein shall be solely and exclusively limited to the advice provided by legal counsel stating legal rights, duties, liabilities and defenses and shall not include factual information or the formulation or analysis of business strategy.
Advocate means a person other than paid staff who has been selected by the individual or by the individual's legal representative to help the individual understand and make choices in matters relating to identification of needs and choices of services, especially when rights are at risk or have been violated.
Victim advocate means a person who provides support and assistance for a person who files a petition under this section.
Legal Adviser means the properly qualified person appointed by the Trust to provide legal advice.
Legal Advisor means the officer responsible for providing legal advice to the Standards Committee. This may be the Monitoring Officer, another legally qualified officer of the authority, or someone appointed for this purpose from outside the authority.
Staff means any individual who is a full-time, part-time, or an independently contracted employee with the Offerors’ company.
Consumer advocate means the consumer advocate referred to in Iowa Code chapter 475A.
Advocacy means acting in support or a cause or proposal.
Medical Advice means any consultation or advice from a Medical Practitioner including the issuance of any prescription or follow-up prescription.
City’s Manager means a manager who at the relevant time carries such designation from the City under, or in accordance with, ARTICLE 5;
Court appointed special advocate means a volunteer guardian ad litem appointed by the court who is responsible for: researching the background of assigned child abuse, neglect and dependency cases; representing the child's best interests; speaking for the child in all hearings, reviews and other relevant case activities; monitoring the child during the life of the case; and advocating for a safe and permanent home for the child.
Preclearance Officer means the person designated as the Preclearance Officer in Appendix 2 hereof.
Legal Services means fees charged by an attorney:
legal practitioner means an advocate, vakil or an attorney of any High Court, and includes a pleader in practice.
Drug enforcement administration means the drug enforcement
Counselor means an educator who provides full-time counseling and guidance services and holds the relevant certificate from SBEC.
Contact Officer means the person identified as Contact Officer on the cover page of this RFT;
Attorney General means the Attorney General of the State.
Patent Cooperation Treaty means the Patent Cooperation Treaty done at Washington on June 19, 1970;
Support enforcement agency means a public official or agency authorized to seek:
Counsellor means the public utility counsel.
Liaison Counsel means Xxxxxx Xxxx LLP.
Legal age means twenty-one years of age or more.
Clearance Officer, W CAR:MP:FP:S, Xxxxxxxxxx, XX 00000. Comments on the collection of information should be received by September 17, 2002. Comments are specifically requested concerning: Whether the collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the Internal Revenue Service, including whether the information will have practical utility; The accuracy of the estimated burden associated with the collection of information (see below); How the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected may be enhanced; How the burden of complying with the collection of information may be minimized, including through the application of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology; and Estimates of capital or start-up costs and costs of operation, maintenance, and purchase of service to provide information. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to, a collection of information unless it displays a valid control number assigned by the Office of Management and Budget. The estimated total annual reporting burden is 470 hours, based on an estimated number of respondents of 470 and an estimated average annual burden hours per respondent of one hour. Books or records relating to a collection of information must be retained as long as their contents may become material in the administration of any internal revenue law. Generally, tax returns and tax return information are confidential, as required by 26 U.S.C. 6103.
Enforcement agency means any agency granted authority to enforce the Federal labor laws. It includes the enforcement components of DOL (Wage and Hour Division, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board. It also means a State agency designated to administer an OSHA-approved State Plan, but only to the extent that the State agency is acting in its capacity as administrator of such plan. It does not include other Federal agencies which, in their capacity as contracting agencies, conduct investigations of potential labor law violations. Law enforcement agency means the same as that term is defined in Section 53-1-102.
