Locum Doctor definition

Locum Doctor means the individual, whether working directly or through a limited company, who is introduced by the Employment Business to render services to the Client;

Examples of Locum Doctor in a sentence

  • In the event that there is an Introduction of a Locum Doctor to the Client which does not result in the supply of that Locum Doctor by the Employment Business to the Client, but the Locum Doctor is introduced by the Client to a third party which results in the Engagement of the Locum Doctor by the third party within 6 months from the date of Introduction the Client shall be liable, to an Introduction Fee calculated in accordance with clause 7.1.1.

  • In the event that a Locum Doctor supplied to a Client is introduced by the Client to a third party which results in the Engagement of the Locum Doctor by the third party, the provisions of clause7.1 shall apply as if the Client had itself Engaged the Locum Doctor rather than the third party.

  • The Client will comply in all respects with all relevant statutes, by-laws, codes of practice and legal requirements including the provision of adequate public liability insurance in respect of the Locum Doctor.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, the Locum Doctor is not a worker for the purposes of the Working Time Regulations.

  • Policy Implications Nil Financial Implications There may be some financial implications should Council resolve to support the purchase of the surgery and medical equipment at the Medical Practice, and also if Council resolves to support the placement of a Locum Doctor for a four week period during the month of September 2013.

  • Such reduction is subject to the Client Engaging the Locum Doctor for the agreed fixed term.

  • Should the Client extend the Locum Doctor’s Engagement or re-Engage the Locum Doctor within 12 months from the commencement of the initial Engagement the Employment Business reserves the right to recover the balance of the Transfer Fee.
