Permanent disablement wholly preventing the Person from engaging in or giving attention to the Person’s usual business profession or occupation caused other than by Loss of Limb or Loss of Eye which disablement lasts without interruption for more than 12 months from the date of the Accidental Bodily Injury.
Loss of Eye Shall mean permanent and total loss of sight which will be considered as having occurred A) in both eyes if the Insured Person’s name is added to the Register of Blind Persons on the authority of a fully qualified ophthalmic specialist, or B) in one eye if the degree of sight remaining after correction is 3/60 or less on the Snellen scale (meaning seeing at 3 feet what the Insured Person should see at 60 feet).

If the Insured Person is under 18 Chubb will pay the Benefit Amount for Loss of Limb or Loss of Eye to the Parent or Legal Guardian of such minor, for the benefit of that minor.
