Low-level criminal offense definition

Low-level criminal offense means any petty offense or misdemeanor, excluding those offenses enumerated in section 24-4.1-302 (1). "Low-level criminal offense" may also include, if agreed to by the district attorney in a given pilot program site, any class 4, class 5, or class 6 felony or any level 3 or level 4 felony drug offense, excluding any felony offenses enumerated in section 24-4.1-302 (1).

  • Sex offense means an offense defined as a sex offense in RCW 9.94A.030;

  • Serious offense means any of the following felonies or a felony attempt to commit any of the following felonies, as now existing or hereafter amended:

  • Most serious offense means any of the following felonies

  • Crime means a misdemeanor or a felony.

  • Violent felony means any offense that, if committed by an adult, would constitute a felony and:

  • Criminal sexual activity means the commission of an act as defined in Section 886 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, which is the act of sodomy; and

  • sexual offence means an offence —

  • Relevant Convictions means a conviction that is relevant to the nature of the Services (or as listed by the Authority and/or relevant to the work of the Authority).

  • Eligible Crisis or Emergency means an event that has caused, or is likely to imminently cause, a major adverse economic and/or social impact to the Recipient, associated with a natural or man-made crisis or disaster.

  • Disciplinary sanction means any action listed in s. UWS 14.04 taken in response to student academic misconduct.

  • Criminal street gang-related offense means any felony or

  • Serious traffic violation means a conviction when operating a commercial motor vehicle of:

  • Drug-related criminal activity means the illegal manufacture, sale, distribution, use, or possession with intent to manufacture, sell, distribute, or use of a controlled substance (as defined in Section 102 or the Controlled Substance Act [21 U.S.C. 802]).

  • Traffic infraction means a violation of law punishable as provided in § 46.2-113, which is neither a

  • Method Detection Level or “MDL” means the minimum concentration of an analyte (substance) that can be measured and reported with a ninety- nine percent (99%) confidence that the analyte concentration is greater than zero (0) as determined by procedure set forth in 40 CFR 136, Appendix B. The method detection level or MDL is equivalent to the LOD.

  • Victim of a crime means a person who has suffered personal or

  • Relevant Conviction means a conviction that is relevant to the nature of the Services or as listed by the Authority and/or relevant to the work of the Authority.

  • Top Level Domain means the portion of the Domain Name to the right of the right-most period. (In the example, “COM”.) “Second Level Domain” means that portion of a domain name to the left of the right-most period, up to the second period from the right, if any, plus the Top Level Domain. (In the example, “XXXXXXXXX.XXX”.) “Third Level Domain” means that portion of a domain name to the left of the second period from the right, if any, up to the third period from the right, if any, plus the Second Level Domain. (In the example, “XXXXXXXXX.XXXXXXXXX.XXX”.).

  • Child abuse or neglect means the injury, sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, or negligent treatment or maltreatment of a child by any person under circumstances which indicate that the child's health, welfare, and safety is harmed thereby. An abused child is a child who has been subjected to child abuse or neglect as defined herein: Provided, that this subsection shall not be construed to authorize interference with child-raising practices, including reasonable parental discipline, which are not proved to be injurious to the child's health, welfare, and safety: And provided further, That nothing in this section shall be used to prohibit the reasonable use of corporal punishment as a means of discipline. No parent or guardian shall be deemed abusive or neglectful solely by reason of the parent's or child's blindness, deafness, developmental disability or other handicap. RCW 26.44.020
