Martial arts or "mixed martial arts" means any of several Asian arts of combat or self-defense, alone or in combination, including but not limited to aikido, karate, judo, muay thai, or taekwondo, usually practiced as sport and which may involve the use of striking weapons.
Mixed martial arts means a form of combat, either amateur or professional, that involves the use of a combination of techniques from different disciplines of the martial arts, including grappling, kicking, and striking, subject to the limitations contained in this act and rules promulgated under this act.
Museum means a non-profit making, permanent institution in the service of society and of its development, and open to the public, which acquires, conserves, researches, communicates and exhibits, for purposes of study, education and enjoyment, material evidence of people and their environment;
Lot Frontage means lot frontage as defined in Town's Zoning By-law No. 1136 (1987), as amended, or any successor thereto.
Seaplane means an aircraft that is capable of landing and taking off on the water.
Qard means a contract of lending money whereby the borrower is obliged to repay the equivalent amount to lender.
Pistol means any firearm with a barrel less than sixteen inches in length, or is designed to be held and fired by the use of a single hand.
Façade means the principal front or fronts of a building.
footpath means a road over which there is a public right of way for pedestrians only, not being a footway;
local area means the geographical area for which the Club is responsible as recognised by the regional and/or state organisations for Football of which the Club is a Member.
Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;
Raffle means a lottery in which the prize is won by (i) a random drawing of the name or
Residential area means land used as a permanent residence or domicile, such as a house, apartment, nursing home, school, child care facility or prison, land zoned for such uses, or land where no zoning is in place.
Study Centre means a centre established and maintained or recognized by the University for the purpose of advising, counselling or for rendering any other assistance required by the students in the context of distance education;
