Medical Emergency Services definition

Medical Emergency Services means inpatient and outpatient services covered under this Contract that are furnished by a Provider qualified to furnish emergency services and are needed to evaluate or stabilize an Enrollee’s Medical Emergency.
Medical Emergency Services means covered inpatient and outpatient services that are:

If Your cancellation request is made more than thirty (30) days from the date of purchase, You will receive a pro-rata refund of the Agreement purchase price, less the cost of repairs made (if any), and less an administrative fee to not exceed $50.00 or ten percent (10%) of the purchase price whichever is less.

  • Advanced emergency medical technician or “AEMT” means an individual who has successfully completed a course of study based on the United States Department of Transportation’s Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Instructional Guidelines (January 2009), has passed the psychomotor and cognitive examinations for the AEMT, and is currently certified by the department as an AEMT.

  • Emergency medical services or “EMS” means an integrated medical care delivery system to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the scene or during out-of-hospital patient transportation in an ambulance.

  • Mental health services provider means an individual, licensed or unlicensed, who performs or purports to perform mental health services, including a:

  • COVID-19 emergency means the emergencies declared in the Declaration of Public Emergency (Mayor's Order 2020-045) together with the Declaration of Public Health Emergency (Mayor's Order 2020-046), declared on March 11, 2020, including any extension of those declared emergencies.

  • System Emergency has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.
