Medicare Tax definition

Medicare Tax means the amount subtracted from a payment for the health care insurance program for the aged and disabled under Title XVIII of the Social Security Act, 42 USC 1395 et seq.
Medicare Tax means Section 1411 of the Code, as of the date of this Agreement (or any amended or successor version), and any regulations or official interpretations thereof.
Medicare Tax means the tax imposed on an individual’s proportionate share of the Company’s taxable income allocated to such individual pursuant to Section 1411 of the Code or similar law.

  • Medicare eligible expenses means expenses of the kinds covered by Medicare Parts A and B, to the extent recognized as reasonable and medically necessary by Medicare.

  • Health care provider or "provider" means:

  • State Income Tax means any Tax imposed by any State of the United States (or by any political subdivision of any such State) or the District of Columbia, or any city or municipality located therein, which is imposed on or measured by net income, including state and local franchise or similar Taxes measured by net income, and any interest, penalties, additions to tax, or additional amounts in respect of the foregoing.

  • Federal Health Care Program means any “federal health care program” as defined in 42 U.S.C. § 1320a-7b(f), including Medicare, state Medicaid programs, state CHIP programs, the Veterans Administration, TRICARE and similar or successor programs with or for the benefit of any Governmental Authority, and in each case any third party payor administering such programs.

  • Health care entity means any health care provider, health plan or health care clearinghouse.
