Medicare eligible expenses means expenses of the kinds covered by Medicare Parts A and B, to the extent recognized as reasonable and medically necessary by Medicare.

Total Disability (or Totally Disabled) means the incapability of self-sustaining employment by reason of mental retardation or physical handicap. United States means all of the States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa.
