Mining Supervisor definition

Mining Supervisor means the Area Mining Supervisor, or his authorized representative, of the Geological Sur- vey authorized as provided in 30 CFR211.3 and 231.2 to supervise operations on the land covered by a permit or lease;
Mining Supervisor means the Area Mining Supervisor, Conservation Division, U.S. Geological Survey, or District Mining Supervisor or other subordinate acting under their direction.
