National Finals definition

National Finals means that part of the National Event, following any Centre Qualifying Competition and, at which players and teams compete to decide the overall winners of the National Event.

  • I understand that, in order to compete in the Local or State competition in anticipation of this year’s National Finals, I must reside in; or be enrolled in and physically attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited college or university in; or be employed in on a full-time basis, the state which I intend to represent in the National Finals.

  • In order to be eligible to compete in the National Finals of the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Competition (“National Finals”), I hereby certify that I have never before competed in any National Finals of the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen (“MAOTeen”) Program.

  • If I advance to the National Finals of the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Competition or if I am a recipient of a scholarship from the National Office of the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Organization as a Local or State contestant, I understand that requests for scholarship disbursements must begin within one year of high school graduation.

  • In order to be eligible to compete, I must be a high school senior no later than the date of my first competition, or have successfully completed the G.E.D. testing program for high school equivalency, or have successfully completed the academic requirements for entry into an accredited college/university degree program requiring physical attendance by the July 30th immediately preceding the National Finals.

  • I understand and agree that the information I am providing in Attachment B - Emergency Information Form, may disclose information which could jeopardize my ability to compete in a Local competition, State Finals, or the National Finals of the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Program.

  • If so selected, this Agreement shall terminate at the later of the completion of the next year’s State Program or Participant’s entering into a Participant Agreement for the National Finals.

  • I understand that, in order to be eligible to compete in the Local or State Competition in anticipation of competing in the National Finals, I must reside in, be enrolled in, and attending classes on a full-time basis at an accredited public, private or home schooling program with passing scores (passing scores as determined by state accreditation score) in academic and citizenship grades.

  • I affirm that I do not hold a title with any other competition/pageant system and that I will not enter or associate in any way with, promote, perform judge or become a contestant or participant in any other program’s local, state, regional, national or international competition or preliminary competition of a similar nature to the National Finals, including but not limited to the National Sweetheart Pageant/Competition in Hoopeston, Illinois.

  • I agree that, during my service in that role and until after the scheduled completion of the full term of the position for which I was selected, I will not associate in any way with, promote, perform, judge, or become a candidate or participant in any other regional, national, or international competition or preliminary competition of a similar nature* to the National Finals.

  • Additional Financial Centre(s means the city or cities specified as such in the relevant Final Terms;

  • Municipal Finance Management Act means the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003);

  • parent institution in a Member State means an institution in a Member State which has a institution or a financial institution as a subsidiary or which holds a participation in such an institution, and which is not itself a subsidiary of another institution authorised in the same Member State, or of a financial holding company or mixed financial holding company set up in the same Member State.

  • Principal Financial Centre means, in relation to any currency, the principal financial centre for that currency provided, however, that:

  • Native American means a person having origins in any of the original peoples of North America and who is regarded as such by the community of which this person claims to be a part or who is recognized by a tribal organization.

  • National Board means the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, (NB) 1055 Crupper Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43229, whose membership is composed of the Chief Boiler Inspectors of jurisdictions who are charged with the enforcement of the provisions of the ASME Code.

  • Website of the European Central Bank means the website of the European Central Bank currently at http://www.ecb.europa.eu or any successor website officially designated by the European Central Bank.

  • UK Financial Institutions means any BRRD Undertaking (as such term is defined under the PRA Rulebook (as amended from time to time) promulgated by the United Kingdom Prudential Regulation Authority) or any person falling within IFPRU 11.6 of the FCA Handbook (as amended from time to time) promulgated by the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority, which includes certain credit institutions and investment firms, and certain affiliates of such credit institutions or investment firms.

  • Recreational Fire means cooking fires or campfires using fire- wood which occur in designated areas on public lands, or on private property. Fires used for disposal ((purposes)) are not recreational fires.

  • National Commissioner means the National Commissioner of the South African Police Service, appointed by the President under section 207(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996;

  • EEA Financial Institution means (a) any credit institution or investment firm established in any EEA Member Country which is subject to the supervision of an EEA Resolution Authority, (b) any entity established in an EEA Member Country which is a parent of an institution described in clause (a) of this definition, or (c) any financial institution established in an EEA Member Country which is a subsidiary of an institution described in clauses (a) or (b) of this definition and is subject to consolidated supervision with its parent.
