National Event definition

National Event means a bowls event held by, or under the auspices of, or administered by Bowls NZ (and held at a Centre or Club venue as determined by Bowls NZ). National Events may be held on an open, invitation, or limited entry basis. A National Event shall be deemed to start at the commencement of the official opening, manager’s meeting or pre- event briefing immediately preceding the event (whichever is the earlier) and shall end at the conclusion of the official closing, prize giving or official Bowls NZ function for the event (whichever is the latter).
National Event means any event or occasion which is declared to be such by the Minister by notice published in the Gazette.
National Event means a bowls event held by, or under the auspices of, or administered by Bowls NZ (and includes the National Finals and Centre Qualifying Competitions) and includes those events listed in clause 2 of this Regulation.

Examples of National Event in a sentence

  • Under the National Event Technical Inspection Process, technical inspection typically will be during or after competition, in the sole and absolute discretion of PDRA.

  • National Event Technical Inspection Process: PDRA is conducting the National Event Technical Inspection Process at certain PDRA- sanctioned events.

  • For all technical inspections (National Event or otherwise) responsibility for accurately completing the Tech Card and/or supplying accurate information for the Tech Card is on the participant and inaccuracies and other issues will be dealt with using all measures available to PDRA.

  • At a time and place and in a manner determined by Event Officials, prior to racing activities of any nature (including without limitation competition, testing, time trials etc.), all vehicles and driver equipment must undergo a technical inspection, or have been inspected under the Extended Technical Inspection program or be subject to the National Event Technical Inspection Process, explained below.

  • Under the National Event Technical Inspection Process the participant certifies the technical readiness of his or her own vehicle and personal protective equipment and fills out his or her own Tech Card for the event in advance.

National Event means a sport Event or Competition involving International- or National- Level Athletes that is not an International Event.
National Event means a bowls competition or championship arranged by Bowls SA;
National Event means an event organised at a national level;
