Negative Imbalance Energy definition

Negative Imbalance Energy has the meaning set forth in Section 4.[2/3].

Examples of Negative Imbalance Energy in a sentence

  • In the event that Delivered Energy for any CAISO settlement interval is less than Scheduled Energy for such CAISO settlement interval, Buyer shall have no payment obligation in respect of the Negative Imbalance Energy.

  • For each CAISO settlement time interval in any month in which there is Negative Imbalance Energy, the Imbalance Price shall be the 10-Minute Settlement Interval Average Price as published by the CAISO with respect to negative uninstructed imbalance energy charges for the applicable time interval and zone.

  • In the event that Delivered Energy for such month is less than Scheduled Energy for such month, Buyer shall pay Seller, in addition to the Monthly Energy Payment, an amount equal to the product of (i) the Negative Imbalance Energy for the month, times (ii) the lower of the Energy Price [For XXX Pricing Only: (without any XXX Factor correction)] or the Imbalance Price (defined below) for the month.

  • In no event shall Seller have the right to procure any element of the Product from sources other than the Project for sale or delivery to Buyer under this Agreement except with respect to Negative Imbalance Energy.

  • For each CAISO Settlement time interval in which there is Negative Imbalance Energy and the Imbalance Price is lower than the product of Contract Price and the applicable XXX Factor, Buyer shall deduct from Monthly XXX Payment to Seller the amount equal to the absolute value of the product of (i) the quantity of the Negative Imbalance Energy and (ii) the difference between (A) the Imbalance Price and (B) the product of the Contract Price and the applicable XXX Factor.

  • For each CAISO settlement time interval in any month in which there is Negative Imbalance Energy, the Imbalance Price shall be the Hourly Average-Energy Price as published by the CAISO with respect to negative uninstructed imbalance energy charges for the applicable time interval and zone.

Related to Negative Imbalance Energy

  • Imbalance Energy means the amount of energy in MWh, in any given Settlement Period or Settlement Interval, by which the amount of Facility Energy deviates from the amount of Scheduled Energy.

  • Stored value means monetary value that is evidenced by an electronic record.

  • Equalized assessed value means the assessed value of a property divided by the current average ratio of assessed to true value for the municipality in which the property is situated, as determined in accordance with sections 1, 5, and 6 of P.L.1973, c.123 (C.54:1-35a through C.54:1-35c).
