Taxable value per membership pupil definition

Taxable value per membership pupil means each of the following divided by the district’s membership:
Taxable value per membership pupil means taxable value, as certified by the department of treasury, for the calendar year ending in the current state fiscal year divided by the district’s membership excluding special education pupils for the school year ending in the current state fiscal year.
Taxable value per membership pupil means a school district’s taxable value for the calendar year ending in the immediately preceding state fiscal year divided by the school district’s membership, as calculated under the state school aid act of 1979, 1979 PA 94, MCL 388.1601 to 388.1772, for the school year ending in the immediately preceding state fiscal year.
