Network Address Translation definition

Network Address Translation or “NAT” means the process that enable multiple hosts on a private network to access the Internet using a single public IP address;

Network Address Translation. ("NAT") means IP addresses that we provided to allow the Router to translate IP addresses. That way, many computers can share a few public IP addresses. The Router translates between the public and the private IP addresses.
