No Authority. CTTF has no authority to, and shall not, act as agent for or on behalf of CRPUSD or represent or bind it in any manner. No Benefits: CTTF and its employees will not be entitled to any of the benefits afforded to CRPUSD employees.
No Authority. No attorney, agent, receiver or receiver and manager appointed in accordance with any Transaction Document has authority to act on behalf of Party B in a way which exposes Party B to any personal liability and no act or omission of any such person will be considered fraud, negligence or wilful default of Party B for the purposes of Section 15(c).

  • No Authority Board of Directors member, officer, agent, director, or employee of the Authority shall be charged personally or held contractually liable by or to any other person under the terms or provisions of this Agreement or because of any breach thereof.

  • No Authority employee may award or decline to award any grant or contract, or recommend, promise or threaten to do so because of a current or prospective grantee’s or contractor’s: (a) refusal to answer any inquiry prohibited by Section 9.C above or (b) giving or withholding or neglecting to make any contribution of money, service or any other valuable thing for any political purpose.

  • No Authority officer or employee is eligible, within a period of two years after the termination of Authority service to appear or practice before the Authority or receive compensation for any services rendered on behalf of any person, firm, corporation or association, in relation to any case, proceeding or application or other matter before the Authority.

  • No Authority member shall solicit for any person any appointment as a member or employee of the Authority, or recommend any person for such appointment.

  • No Authority employee who is involved in the award of Authority grants or contracts may ask any officer, director or employee of such current or prospective contractor or grantee to reveal: (a) the political party affiliation of the individual; (b) whether the individual or entity has made campaign contributions to any political party, elected official or candidate for elective office or (c) whether the individual voted for or against any political party, elected official or candidate for elective office.

  • Governmental Body means any: (a) nation, state, commonwealth, province, territory, county, municipality, district or other jurisdiction of any nature; (b) federal, state, local, municipal, foreign or other government; or (c) governmental or quasi-governmental authority of any nature (including any governmental division, department, agency, commission, instrumentality, official, organization, unit, body or Entity and any court or other tribunal).

  • Government Entity means (a) any federal, state, provincial or similar government, and any body, board, department, commission, court, tribunal, authority, agency or other instrumentality of any such government or otherwise exercising any executive, legislative, judicial, administrative or regulatory functions of such government or (b) any other government entity having jurisdiction over any matter contemplated by the Operative Agreements or relating to the observance or performance of the obligations of any of the parties to the Operative Agreements.

  • Government Authority means any relevant administrative, judicial, executive, legislative or other governmental or intergovernmental entity, department, agency, commission, board, bureau or court, and any other regulatory or self-regulatory organizations, in any country or jurisdiction.

  • Relevant Governmental Body means the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, or a committee officially endorsed or convened by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, or any successor thereto.

  • Governmental Authority means the government of the United States or any other nation, or of any political subdivision thereof, whether state or local, and any agency, authority, instrumentality, regulatory body, court, central bank or other entity exercising executive, legislative, judicial, taxing, regulatory or administrative powers or functions of or pertaining to government (including any supra-national bodies such as the European Union or the European Central Bank).

  • Standards Authority means NERC, and the NERC regional entities with governance over PJM and NYISO, any successor thereof, or any other agency with authority over the Parties regarding standards or criteria to either Party relating to the reliability of Transmission Systems.

  • Competent Authority and ‘Appellate Authority’ shall mean the following:
