Noise abatement measures are considered when noise levels at a receptor(s) approach or exceed the noise abatement criteria or substantially exceed existing noise levels.
Noise abatement is considered only for Activity Categories A, B, C, D and E.
Noise abatement measures that are found to be feasible and reasonable must be constructed for such projects.
Noise abatement will not be considered for noise-sensitive receptors where there is no traffic noise impact from the project.
