Nominated Contractor definition

Nominated Contractor. – shall mean a sub-contractor specified by the Authority for the specific purpose of carrying out a designated portion of the work.
Nominated Contractor means a Contractor selected by the Lenders’ Representative, on behalf of Xxxxxxx, and proposed to the Authority of NMC for assignment/transfer of the Contract as provided in this Agreement;
Nominated Contractor means an entity nominated by the Concessionaire as Design and Engineering Contractor and/or Construction Contractor, as the case may be.

  • Nominated Contractor A contractor engaged by the Commonwealth (other than the Consultant) and notified as such in writing by the Commonwealth.

  • Within 7 days of the Award Date, the Contractor must provide the Consultant with a copy of the provisions in the Nominated Contractor Contract setting out the Nominated Contractor Contract Dispute Procedures.

  • Under the Nominated Contractor Contract, disputes and differences between the Contractor and the Commonwealth and the Contractor and the Commonwealth's Representative are required to be determined in accordance with certain procedures which may include expert determination, executive negotiation and arbitration.

  • The dispute resolution procedures under the Nominated Contractor Contract referred to in the first paragraph of clause 12.14.

  • If the Nominated Contractor Contract is terminated at any time for any reason, the Contractor may: terminate the Subcontract by notice in writing to the Consultant; or without the consent of the Consultant, novate the Subcontract to the Commonwealth or a person nominated by the Commonwealth.

  • Nominated sub Contractor means all specialists, merchants, tradesmen and others executing any special work or supplying any materials for which provisional or prime cost sums are included in the contract, who may have been or be nominated or selected or approved by the Employer / Employer’s Engineer and shall be deemed to be employed by the contractor.

  • Subcontractor employee, as used in this clause, means any officer, partner, employee, or agent of a subcontractor.

  • Contractor employee means prime Contractor and subcontractor employees who require agency access to perform work under a CMS contract.

  • Sub-subcontractor means a Person engaged by a Subcontractor to perform a portion of the Trade Contractor Work. The term “Sub-Subcontractor” also includes any lower tier Persons engaged by Sub-Subcontractor to perform a portion of the Trade Contractor Work.

  • Subcontractor means any supplier, distributor, vendor, or firm that furnishes supplies or services to or for a prime contractor or another subcontractor.

  • Project Director means an employee of the Recipient designated by the Authorized Representative to be responsible for the overall management of the administrative and technical aspects of the executed Agreement. The Project Director is set forth in Section 2 of this Agreement.

  • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • Supplier Personnel means Supplier’s employees, consultants, agents, independent contractors and Subcontractors.

  • Sub-Contractor means the person named in the Contract for any part of the works or any person to whom any part of the contract has been sublet by the contractor with the consent in writing of the Engineer-in-charge and will include the legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns of such persons.

  • Prime Contractor employee, as used in this clause, means any officer, partner, employee, or agent of a prime Contractor.

  • Contractor Personnel means and refers to Contractor’s employees and employees of Contractor’s permitted subcontractors or permitted agents assigned by Contractor to perform Services under this Contract.

  • Major Subcontractor means, any Subcontractor with whom Contractor will enter (or has entered) into a Major Subcontract. 1
