Nursing registry definition

Nursing registry means a person or organization that maintains a list of nurses, in-home aides, or both that is made available to persons seeking nursing care or in-home aide service, but does not collect a placement fee from the worker or client, coordinate the delivery of services, or supervise or control the provision of services.

  • Central registry means the system maintained at the department that is used to keep a record of all reports filed with the department under this act in which relevant and accurate evidence of child abuse or child neglect is found to exist.
