Official Grievance Form definition

Official Grievance Form shall name the employee involved, shall state the facts giving rise to the grievance, shall identify all the provisions of this Agreement violated by appropriate reference, shall state the contention of the employee and of the Association with respect to these provisions and shall indicate the relief requested. The Superintendent or her designated representative shall give the employee or the Association representative an answer in writing no later than five (5) working days after receipt of the written grievance. If further investigation is needed, additional time may be allowed by mutual agreement of the Superintendent or her designated representative and the Association or employee. Step Three: Board Level. If the grievance is not resolved in Step Two, the employee or the Association shall, within five (5) working days, file the "Official Grievance Form" with the Chairman of the Board at the official Board office, and with a copy of the written answer rendered in Step Two above in the office of the Superintendent. Official Grievance Form. The grievance form shall specify the exact article which has been violated and the specific remedy requested. A Union Official may accompany an employee through each step of the grievance procedure. The immediate supervisor shall render a recommendation in writing within ten (10) calendar days and provide the written response to the grievant and the Union Official.

Examples of Official Grievance Form in a sentence

  • The employee or the Association on the employee's behalf shall present his/her grievance in writing on the "Official Grievance Form" or facsimile, to his/her immediate supervisor within the appropriate time limit.

  • Except for failure to meet the time limits, a grievance shall not be deemed to be invalid if it is not written on the Official Grievance Form or for failure to quote the Article in dispute.
